Our Journey

From a startup vision to a trusted name in Philippine online gaming, here is how 989ph has evolved to serve thousands of Filipino players:

2019
Foundation & PAGCOR Application

989ph was founded by a team of gaming industry veterans with a vision to create the most player-friendly online casino platform in the Philippines. We began the rigorous PAGCOR licensing process, demonstrating our commitment to regulatory compliance and responsible gaming from day one.

2020
Official Launch & Game Library Expansion

After receiving our PAGCOR license, we officially launched 989ph to the Filipino market. Our initial library included 150+ slots, classic table games, and live dealer tables. We immediately integrated GCash and bank transfer options to simplify deposits and withdrawals for local players.

2021
Sportsbook Launch & Mobile Optimization

Responding to player demand, we launched a comprehensive sportsbook covering PBA, NBA, UFC, international football, boxing, and more. We also launched our fully responsive mobile platform, optimized for Android and iOS devices, allowing players to bet and play from anywhere in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, and beyond.

2022
VIP Program & Enhanced Security

We introduced our multi-tier VIP loyalty program, rewarding regular players with cashback, exclusive bonuses, faster withdrawals, and dedicated account managers. We also upgraded our security infrastructure with two-factor authentication and enhanced fraud detection systems.

2023
Maya Integration & Live Casino Expansion

We added Maya (formerly PayMaya) as a deposit and withdrawal method, giving players even more payment flexibility. Our live casino section grew to include 40+ tables with Filipino-speaking dealers, creating a more personalized gaming experience.

2024 - Present
Continuous Growth & Innovation

Today, 989ph serves over 10,000 active players across the Philippines. We continue to expand our game library, improve our platform performance, and introduce new features based on player feedback.
